The object and purpose of the Prime of Life is for the promotion and organization of the game of soccer for women over 45 in the greater San Diego area. We aim to remain fit and enjoy both the wonderful game of soccer and the wonderful camaraderie of our fellow players.
We play in the centrally located Clairemont area at Alcott Elementary School Park.
January to June: Saturdays
June through August: Weeknights, each team playing one night a week.
September through mid December: Saturdays
There are approximately 200 women in our league, many that began in open leagues, over 30’s leagues who then created prime of life over 40’s league. The age was raised to over 45 to accommodate many of the women now in late 50’s and 60’s. We currently have 7 over 45 teams and 2 over 58 scrimmage teams.
