PLAY Women’s 8v8 Soccer at The Good Games, a Recreational, Adult Multi-Sport Event from July 5 – 7, 2024 at the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada
- 2024 dates are Friday, July 5 + Saturday, July 6 + Sunday, July 7
- Sports events, ceremonies, festival, entertainment, food trucks and accommodations are within walking distance
- Four high-quality artificial/synthetic turf soccer fields and one natural grass field located at the University of Guelph Gryphon Soccer Complex and Varsity Field
- Minimum 4 games per team
- Format will be 8v8 with regulation-size fields and nets
- Tentative schedule will include one game on Friday, two games on Saturday and one + playoffs on Sunday.
- Cost per player $75-$100 USD / $99 CAD
- Age divisions 70+, 65+, 60+ and 50+
- Walking soccer teams are invited to join exhibition games
- 2024 will be the first year that women’s soccer is hosted (due to pandemic cancellation in 2020)!
- Co-director is former Canadian Women’s National Team Soccer Player, Helen Stoumbos!
- Guelph, Ontario, Canada is located within an hour’s drive from Toronto Pearson Airport (code YYZ) and 1 1/2 hours from Niagara Falls.
