We know that you’ll be busy preparing for (and recovering from) your winter holiday celebrations over the next two weeks, but please remember to submit your player registrations forms and fees to your team manager! The team captains need to have paperwork completed in time for the January meeting. The forms can be found on the homepage under NCWSA_Forms. The league game schedule will be posted in January.

We are thrilled to announce that an expansion team has formed for the 2011 season! Please spread the word that we need only five more players to get the team to capacity. The new team will need their players registered and a manager designated by January 5th. Let’s all get ready for a fantastic season of women’s league soccer in Poway!
DATES: The 2011 season is starting January 22, 2011. Final games are scheduled on May 14th, 2011 and there will be two weekends without games, February 12th and April 23rd.
PRACTICES: If you would like to get in shape and practice your skills before the games begin then come join in on voluntary soccer sessions each Saturday at 8:00am at Hilleary Park. Please bring a ball and two t-shirts (i.e. white & dark). Anyone is invited to join.
NEW PLAYERS: If your team is in need of players or if you are, or know of, a player who are interested in joining the league, please contact Charisa through this site or by telephone at (858) 679-0854.

Our goal with social networking is to increase awareness about our league so that we can keep teams full and potentially add new teams. We also hope to easily communicate with existing players so that the league runs as smoothly as possible. The City Council will be voting on Arbolitos lights on Tuesday, September 7th. Members of the North County Women’s Soccer Association will be meeting at the Poway Council Chambers at 6pm. Poway Youth Soccer League has cancelled all their permits and is pushing everyone to come in their uniforms. Lights are the biggest issue for youth sports and this is an opportunity that can’t be missed! Thank you in advance for your participation.
A big THANK YOU to all of our players, referees, managers, board members and their supportive families for a fantastic season of women’s soccer! Our final games were held on June 5th. We will begin recruiting and registration in November of this year. Please check back frequently or subscribe to updates for league news throughout the year. Hope to see you all back again in January!
