San Diego has a fantastic history of youth and adult soccer leagues! Established in 1976, the North County Women’s Soccer Association offers women of all skill levels the opportunity to have fun and stay fit on the pitch with FIFA rules, professional referees, convenient playing times, and well-maintained fields in the City of Poway. We play on Saturdays from late January into early June. Teams are always looking for new and experienced players. Women aged 30+ are invited to contact us for more information about joining this local league. Younger players are also welcome to join, as we include two 25-29 year olds on each team! Enter your email and click to subscribe to blog updates about field conditions, registration dates and other important league notices. Submit a Player Interest Form today if you are interested in joining a team for the upcoming season.
Hope everyone has been training for the new season!
The NCWSA Board has decided to delay the start of the Women’s 30+ Soccer League by one week. All games will be held on January 30th. Hope everyone enjoys the fall and winter holidays!
Celebrate! The 2016 season is less than 3 months away! Please get those forms and fees to your Team Manager before the winter holidays begin later this month. Start your fitness training so that you’ll be in great shape for the high-quality competition out on the field. Make sure to read the league rules to become familiar with them. Thank you!
A journalist for “Active San Diego” in the Health section of the Union-Tribune is interested in writing a profile of an NCWSA player! She should be committed to an active and healthy lifestyle, and have been playing soccer for many years in her adult life. We’re looking for a volunteer (or you can recommend another player) for this article. Here is an example of a piece he wrote for this biweekly series. Email to firstname.lastname@example.org or message us on Facebook. The writer is Doug Williams– you can link to his blog and his Twitter. Deadline is 9/25/15!
